Obituary of Edward Allen Marshall, Sr.
Funeral services for Edward Allen Marshall, Sr., age 62, of Lineville, AL, will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at 11:00 AM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Sims officiating. Burial will follow at Concord Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 29, 2019.
Mr. Marshall passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Hawkins of Lineville, AL; one son, Edward Allen Marshall, Jr. (wife, Ashley) of Umatilla, FL; two step-daughters, Lisa Beasley (husband, Chris) of Alpine, AL and Nicole Payne (husband, Clifton) of Roanoke, AL; seventeen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Edith Bailey of Mobile, AL.
A Poke County, Florida native, Mr. Marshall was born on May 24, 1957, the son of Lemuel Allen and Ruth Dennis Marshall. He was Baptist by faith and had worked in the construction business. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Shuree Marshall; one brother, Aaron F. Marshall; and one sister, Donna J. Pitts.
