To the family and friends of Ms. Marjorie Pearson, I am so sorry for the loss of your cherished loved one. Death is an enemy of the human race and is merciless to all whom it encounters. Though the coming weeks and months may prove to be very difficult to cope with, my hope is that you may find a measure of comfort and peace from the Holy Scriptures. Quattlebaum’s was founded in 1930 by Robert B. Quattlebaum on Roanoke’s West Point Street. Relocated to Maple Drive, Quattlebaum Funeral Home was just across from Knight Sanatorium for many years. In 1953, a new building was constructed on College Street – where the funeral home is today.
