Obituary of Michael Stanley Lambert

OBITUARY Memorial services for Michael S. Lambert, age 61, of Roanoke, will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at 2:00 pm from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Whaley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 5th. Mr. Lambert died Sunday, July 3, 2011, at his home. Survivors include his wife, Deanie McClendon Lambert of Roanoke; two sons, Michael Dennis Lambert (Jasmine) of Roanoke and Stephen Bryan Lambert (Misty) of Roanoke; four grandchildren, Jacob Lambert, Kacey Lambert, Hallee Lambert and Tyler Henderson; one sister, Diane Harris of Newnan, Ga. A Roanoke native, Mr. Lambert was born September 21, 1949, son of Walter Calvin and Erma Kay Satterwhite Lambert. He was Baptist by faith and had formerly worked as a prison guard with the State of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Walter Dennis Lambert.
