Funeral services for Michael Thomas "Tommy" Burke, age 31, of Lanett, will be held 11:00 am, Thursday July 28, 2011, from the Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Tim Whaley officiating. Burial to follow in Liberty East Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 27, 2011.
Mr. Burke died Monday, July 25, 2011, at Lanier Hospital.
Mr. Burke is survived by one daughter Reanna Burke of Wedowee, two sons Riley Burke and Dalton Burke, both of Wedowee, mother Cindy (Kenneth) Phillips of Roanoke, father, Steve (Jane) Burke of Citronelle, grandparents Harlin and Janell Sheppard of Rock Mills, two sisters Jeri Sheppard of Rock Stand and Melissa Miller of Mobile, two brothers Timothy (Dannette) McManus of Woodland and Stevie Burke of Mobile, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Sheppard, Kenny Sheppard, Jason Dutton, Jamie Fleming Tony Sheppard, and Bobby Sheppard.
The family will accept flowers, or donations can be made to a Memorial Fund in care of Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 319 College Street, Roanoke AL 36274.
