Funeral services for Letetia Dethan Morris Rushing, age 55, of Roanoke will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Arrington and Bro. Mike Brewer officiating.  Burial will follow at Flat Rock Congregational Methodist Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Monday, November 4.

Mrs. Rushing passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019, at her residence.

Survivors include: one son, Michael Rushing (wife, Tiffany) of Roanoke, her mother, Julia Ann Smith Nixon of Roanoke, her father, Charles Roland Morris of Pensacola, FL, one sister, Regina Benefield (husband, Keith) of Roanoke, and three grandchildren, Taya, Tess, and Tate Rushing.

Pallbearers will be Brian Hann, Craig Hann, Justin Benefield, Jimmy Albright, Mark Kirby, Skyler Waters, Stevie Bolt, and Chris Hosmer.

A Newnan, GA native, Mrs. Rushing was born on November 4, 1964, the daughter of Charles Roland Morris and Julia Ann Smith Nixon. She was a member of Midway Full Gospel Church. Later in her life, Mrs. Rushing loved taking care of her grandchildren and enjoyed every minute of her time with them. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Rushing.
