OBITUARY
Graveside services for, Mr. James Dwight Gilham, age 78, of Roanoke, will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 30, 2011, from the Randolph Memory Gardens with Rev. Franklin Foster officiating. Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home on Friday, July 29, 2011.
Mr. Gilham died July 28, 2011 at Traylor Nursing Home.
Mr. Gilham is survived by one daughter, Jan (husband Charlie) Adams of Roanoke; two brothers, Terrell Gilham of Orlando, FL, Ferrell Gilham of New Orleans, LA.
Pallbearers will be Gerry Burke, Shane Burke, Jacky Whaley and Jimmy Gilham.
Mr. Gilham was born, February 25, 1933, the son of Robert C. and Addie Adamson Gilham. He was of the Methodist faith, had been a loom fixer for Handley Mills and served in the United States Navy. Mr. Gilham was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Davidson Gilham; his parents; one son, Gene Gilham; two brothers, Sanford Gilham and Eugene Gilham.
