OBITUARY
Funeral services for, Terresa Halsey Cummings, age 48, of Roanoke, will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, August 7, 2011, from Welcome Home Baptist Church with Rev. J. D. Bearden, Rev. Billy Puckett, Rev. Ricky Cummings, Dr. Jim Gunnill officiating. Mrs. Cummings will lie in state at the church one hour before the service. Burial to follow in the adjoining church cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home on Saturday, August 6, 2011.
Mrs. Cummings died Friday, August 5, 2011 at Wedowee Hospital.
Mrs. Cummings is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Cummings of Roanoke; four daughters, DeAnn Cummings, Sha Cummings, Jennifer Cummings, Brooke Gay all of Roanoke; three grandchildren, Lexi Cummings, Rylee Joe Cummings, Zayden Ownsby; three sisters, Connie Bowen of Roanoke, Leigh Justice of Carrollton, GA, Jean White of Roanoke; four brothers, Phillip Halsey of Rock Mills, Kenny Halsey of Roanoke, Freddy Justice of Carrollton, GA, Billy Justice of Roanoke.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
Mrs. Cummings was born, October 2, 1962, the daughter of Waymon and Shirley Chestine Dunlap Halsey. She was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church and had been a housewife. Mrs. Cummings was preceded in death by her parents; one grandchild, Andrea Cummings.
