Funeral services for Lena Belle East Graben, age 98, of Roanoke will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ed Halsey officiating. Burial will follow in Barfield Baptist Cemetery in Lineville, AL with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM on Wednesday before services begin.
Mrs. Graben passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020, at Traylor’s Nursing Home.
Survivors include her daughters, Jean Graben of Huntsville, AL and Sallie Gail Dean (Richard) of Dover, NH; granddaughter, Dr. Susan Moore (John) of Iowa City, IA and several nieces and nephews.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Harris and Dennis East.
A Roanoke native, Mrs. Graben was born on November 5, 1921, the daughter of John William and Sallie Elizabeth Quarles East. Mrs. Graben was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joe Graben, sister, Lenora Harris, and brother, John William East, Jr.
