Wayne Brown, age 78, of Roanoke passed away Friday, January 31, 2020, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Betty J. Brown of Roanoke; two sons, Rusty Brown (Melinda) of Opelika and Tracy Brown (Chanta) of Roanoke; seven grandchildren, Caitlin B. Kelley (Jon), Austin Brown, Peyton Brown, Anna Claire Brown, Caroline Brown, Chloe Brown, and Camille Brown; and one great-grandson on the way, Jedd Wesson Kelley.
A Roanoke native, Mr. Brown was born on December 31, 1941, the son of Albert Lee and Bessie Lee Camp Brown. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was a retired salesman with Flowers Bakery and a Liberty National insurance agent. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents and several sisters and brothers.
Per Mr. Brown’s wishes, all services will be private.
