Funeral services for Billy Towler, 61, of Roanoke will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020, at 2:00 PM CST in the chapel of Quattlebaum Funeral Home in Roanoke. Reverend Mark Brand will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 PM CST at the funeral home. Mr. Towler passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at East Alabama Medical Center. Mr. Towler was born February 3, 1959 in Roanoke the son of the late James Billy Towler, Sr and Mrs. Earla Joyce Bailey Harpe. He was preceded in death by his Sister, Rhonda Puckett. A member of Handley Avenue Church of God, Billy enjoyed his grandchildren and being outdoors and grilling. His favorite football team was the Auburn Tigers. Survivors include his Wife, Pamela Norred Towler, 4 Sons: Rodney Towler, Cragford, Randall (Traci) Towler, Hogansville, GA, Charlie (Kelley) Towler, Heard County GA, Glenn (Ashely) Towler, LaGrange, GA 3 Step Sons: Alan Moore, Gadsden, Brandon Moore, Piedmont, Chad Moore, Batesville, IN, 10 Grandchildren, Tori (D.J.)Mobley, Jobie Traylor, Ryan Thacker, Jordan Smith, Andrew Fordham, Grace Fordham, Caleigh Towler, Mason Towler, Luke Towler, Jacob Towler, 7 Stepgrandchildren, Sister: Wanda Mapp Special nephew: Chuck Mapp, Uncle, Carey Bailey The family respectfully request no flowers, donations be made to Quattlebaum Funeral Home for funeral expenses or to the American Heart Association.
