Claudean Brown, 91, of Wadley passed away Friday, April 17, 2020, at Traylor’s Nursing Home in Roanoke.
Survivors include: two sons, Donnie Brown of Wadley and Chad Brown (Debi) of Wedowee; three grandchildren, Donna Meadows of Valley, Nikki Blackmond (Tim) of Wedowee; and Curt Brown of Birmingham; great-grandchildren, Katie Harris (Cole) of Valley, Drew Meadows of Valley, Weston Mitchell and Whitley Brown, both of Wedowee; great-great-grandchild, Nealey Beck Harris of Valley; and niece, Susie Schell (Jack) of Valley.
A Cleburne County native, Ms. Brown was born on May 12, 1928, the daughter of Berry and Essie Perry Turner. She was Baptist by faith and worked as a spinner at Handley Mills and Candlewick. Ms. Brown was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Curtis Manley Brown; infant daughter, Ruby Joyce Brown; and daughter-in-law, Becky Brown.
A private family graveside will be held at a later date.
