Graveside services for Gwendlyon Strain Hall, age 89, of Roanoke will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Randolph Memory Gardens with Dr. Barry Cosper and Bro. Tim Whaley officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hall passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at her residence.
Survivors include: one daughter, Carol Brown (Radney) of Roanoke; two sons, Randy Charles Hall and Tim Hall (Kristy), both of Roanoke; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Teddy Hugh Strain and Tommy Larry Strain, both of Wedowee.
Pallbearers will be Rob Williams, Zack Hall, Chase Hall, Rodney Hall, Bruce Cobb, Ron Garrett, Teddy Wayne Strain, and Dave Strain.
A Wedowee native, Mrs. Hall was born on October 16, 1930, the daughter of David Wesley and Edith Iree Amason Strain. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was the co-owner at Hall’s Gas Company. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hubert Hall; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Hall; son-in-law, Paul Williams; and one brother, Bobby Strain.
