Obituary of John Kole Duncan, V

Funeral services for John Kole Duncan, V, age 23, of Delta, AL, will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020, at 11:00 AM central time at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bennie Morrison officiating. Burial will follow in Buchanan City Cemetery, Buchanan, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM central time on Thursday, May 21, 2020. Mr. Duncan passed away Monday, May 18, 2020, in Clay County. Survivors include his father, John David Duncan, Jr. (Abby) of Delta; mother, Michelle Lance King (Brad) of Fortson, GA; one son, Carter Eli Duncan of Dickert; grandparents, John David Duncan, Sr., of Cedartown, GA, Benny and Sue Nell Morrison of Delta, and Jimmy and Mary Boggs of Rock Mills; sisters, Paige Duncan of Roanoke, Loren Taylor of Delta, Auburn King of Fortson, GA, and Georgia Haskell of Fortson, GA; and brothers, Gage Oliver Duncan of Delta, Anthony Taylor of Delta, and Jaxon Rice of Delta. Pallbearers will be John Duncan, D. J. Lance, Tre Lance, Adam Pursley, Anthony Taylor, and Chase Whittington. Mr. Duncan was born on August 22, 1996. He was an assembler at Wellborn Cabinets. Mr. Duncan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Mitchell Lance. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Trust Fund for Carter Duncan at First State Bank.
