Obituary of Travis B. Wilson

Funeral services for Travis Barren “Bo” Wilson, age 60, of LaGrange, GA, will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020, at 1:00 PM CST at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jack Maxwell officiating.  Burial will follow at Ridgeway Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM CST on Saturday, July 11, 2020.

Mr. Wilson passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at Piedmont Columbus Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia.

Survivors include: one daughter, Bridget Wilson of Goose Creek, SC; one son, Travis Wilson of Goose Creek, SC; four sisters, Rachael Tice of Rabun Gap, GA, Caren Hammock of LaGrange, Ga, Tina Brown of Lanett, AL, and Judy Hall of Conyers, GA; and one brother, Michael Godfrey of Aragon, GA.

Pallbearers will be Floyd Hall, Jack Brown, Greg Nixon, Jeremy Sprayberry, Bryson Hammock, and Spencer Hammock.

A Ft. McPherson, GA native, Mr. Wilson was born on February 4, 1960, the son of Jessie Ray and Myrtle Leigh Jacobs Wilson.  He worked as a welder in the construction industry and also worked on signs.  Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Patricia Seabolt; and brothers, Joe Chumley and Danny Godfrey.
