Obituary of Johnnie Gauntt Heath
Funeral services for Johnnie Gauntt Heath, age 75, of LaGrange, Georgia, will be held Monday, July 27, 2020 at 10:00 Central time at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Scott Hannah officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, Roanoke, from 5:30 to 7:30 Central time on Sunday, July 26th.
Mrs. Heath died Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at West Georgia Hospice in LaGrange.
Survivors include one daughter, Tonya M. Heath of LaGrange and one sister, LaVelle Sheppard of Roanoke.
A Troup County native, Mrs. Heath was born July 18, 1945, the daughter of Fred L. and Lethia McCain Gauntt. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and had worked as a payroll clerk with Wheelabrator. She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Heath and a son, Anthony William “Tony” Heath.
