OBITUARY Funeral services for, Annie Ree Richardson, age 89, of Roanoke, will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 19, 2011, from the Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Carolyn Hanner and Rev. F. W. Sheppard officiating. Burial to follow in Potash Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Mrs. Richardson died Monday, October 17th at her home. Mrs. Richardson is survived by two daughters, Peggy (husband Richard) Laird of Roanoke, Joyce Cantrell of Woodland; three sons, Gordon Henderson of Guntersville, Dean (wife Edith)Richardson of Conyers, GA, Chris(wife Elizabeth) Richardson of Summerdale; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; eight step- great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Mrs. Richardson was born, January 3, 1922, the daughter of Daniel and Pallie Starks Henderson. She was a member of the Woodland Church of God, and had been a clerk for Laird's 5 & 10. Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her husband, Elton L. Richardson; her parents; two brothers, Carl and Brewer Henderson; three sisters, Jessie Henderson, Estell Henderson and Murscal Johnson; one great grandson, Matthew Cantrell.
