Funeral services for Sarilyn Brewer Ogilvie, age 72, of Roanoke will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Scott Whaley, Bro. Doug Carter, and Sister Sandy Pike officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Monday, September 21, 2020.

Mrs. Ogilvie passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020.

Survivors include her daughter, Chanon Ogilvie of Roanoke; son, Kevin Ogilvie (Tera) of Wadley; grandchildren, Madalyn D. Ogilvie, Gage Ogilvie, Blaise Ogilvie, Abbi Kate Ogilvie, and Ella Grace Ogilvie, all of Roanoke; great grandchild, Ryder Lane Person; sisters, Judy Carter (Doug) of Hazelhurst, GA and Linda Varnadoe of Conyers, GA; and brother, Jimmy Brewer (Carolyn) of Lumber City, GA.

Pallbearers will be Chris Williamson, Gage Ogilvie, David Cofield, Richard Greer, Randy Brewer, and Michael Williamson.

A Roanoke native, Mrs. Ogilvie was born in Lumber City, GA on June 6, 1948, the daughter of Early Nathan and Ethel Owens Brewer.  She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Roanoke and retired from Publix Grocery. Mrs. Ogilvie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carswell Ogilvie, Jr., and two sisters, Marilyn Miller and Sue Brewer.
