Memorial services for Maxine Rollins Redding, age 77, of Roanoke will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Tyler Worthey and Rev. Fitzgerald Brown officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, October 3, 2020.

Mrs. Redding passed away Friday, October 2, 2020, at her residence.

Survivors include: three daughters, Stacy Waldrep (Tommy), Lynn Bell, and Dawn Waldrep (Bo), all of Roanoke; one son, Reginald Bell of Senoia, GA; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Brown of Roanoke and LaVerne Battit of Heflin; and three brothers, Mack Rollins, Hulon Rollins, and Thomas Rollins, all of Roanoke.

A Roanoke native, Mrs. Redding was born on May 27, 1943, the daughter of Roy Levi and Macie Richardson Rollins.  She worked at Trac Mobile before retiring.  Mrs. Redding was preceded in death by her parents; loving companion, David Redding; four sisters, Durlene Bailey, Maggie Olson, Jeanette Spivey, and Betty Sue Rollins; and two brothers, Levon Rollins and Preach Rollins.

Memorials may be floral or donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
