Obituary of Elmer Lee Lolley

Funeral services for Elmer Lee Lolley, age 89, of Roanoke, will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2020, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Ricky Etchison and Bro. Wally Williamson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Rock Mills Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Saturday, November 7, 2020. 

Mr. Lolley passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020, Wellstar – West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Georgia. 

Survivors include daughters, Betty Wilkerson (William) of Roanoke, Karon Higgins, Janet Hughes, and Kim Huey; grandchildren, Makayla Barnes, Ashley Hussey, Lani Formby, and Levi Hughes; multiple great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and special nephew, Nathan Bevels.

A Perry County native, Mr. Lolley was born on January 16, 1931, the son of Moses Levy and Lillian Hooks Lolley. He was a member of the Roanoke Church of the Nazarene and worked as a clerk for Corner One.  Mr. Lolley was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Hazel Hood Lolley; and two brothers, Cliff Lolley and Harvey Lolley.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request donations be made to Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 319 College Street, Roanoke, AL 36274, to help with final expenses.
