Obituary of DOROTHY L DENHAM

OBITUARY Funeral services for, Mrs. Dorothy L. Denham, age 77, of Roanoke, will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, November 13, 2011, from the Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Clifford DeLee, Rev. Lamar Smith, and Rev. Rodney Smith officiating. Burial to follow in the High Pine Baptist Church Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:30 - 8:00 pm on Saturday, November 12th. Pallbearers will be Rudolph Pinkard, Rod Pinkard, Larry Pinkard, Robert Patton, William Glass and Keibo Gilliland. Mrs. Denham died Friday, November 11, 2011 at East Alabama Medical Center. Mrs. Denham is survived by her husband, Claude Denham of Roanoke; one son, William E. (wife Macy) Hall of Roanoke; one sister, Pauline Patton, Albany, GA; two brothers, Ralph Blackmon of Conyers, GA, Oscar Blackmon of Roanoke; three grandchildren; five great grand-children. Mrs. Denham was born, May 16, 1934, the daughter of James L. and Lillie M. Henderson Blackmon. She was a member of the High Pine Baptist Church and had worked for Candlewick.
