Obituary of Perry Oliver Wilson
Funeral services for Perry Oliver Wilson, age 80, of Roanoke, will be held Sunday, December 13, 2020, at 1:00 pm CST at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roger Hammett, Rev. Bobby Duck and Mr. Sam Traylor officiating. A private burial service will follow.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 11:00 am on Sunday.
Mr. Wilson died Thursday, December 10, 2020, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Miller Wilson of Roanoke; one daughter, Stephanie Wilson Hyatt (Mart) of Centralhatchee, GA; two sons, Faron Miller Wilson (Karen) of Enterprise and Todd Perry Wilson (Susan) of Opelika; five grandchildren, Haley Hyatt, Hannah Wilson, Landon Wilson, Hayden Wilson and Nico LoPorto; special friends, Tim & Lynn Jacobs and their children.
A Randolph County native, Mr. Wilson was born October 1, 1940, the son of Homer and Nora Bishop Wilson. He was a self-employed carpenter and a talented singer/musician. He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandchild, Courtney Faye Kemmerlin; and a brother, Junior Harrelson.
