OBITUARY
Funeral services for, Mr. Morris Neal Lanier, age 84, of Roanoke, will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, November 17, 2011, from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jackie Simmons officiating. Burial to follow in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends 9:00 am to 10:00 am, Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the funeral home.
Mr. Lanier died Monday, November, 14, 2011 at Roanoke Healthcare.
Mr. Lanier is survived by his wife, Annie May Alsabrook Lanier of Roanoke; two step-sons, John Michael Rowland of Tampa, FL, Charles Cay Rowland of Tampa, FL; four step-grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren.
Mr. Lanier was born, February 5, 1927. He was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church and was employed at the General Motors Lakewood Assembly Plant in Atlanta . Mr. Lanier was preceded in death by his parents.
