Graveside services for Rebecca Lois Prescott age 95 of Roanoke will be held Sunday November 27, 2011 at 2:00 PM from Cedarwood Cemetery with Rev. Charles Fetner and Rev. Jamie Taylor officiating.
Mrs. Prescott passed away Saturday November 26, 2011 at Lafayette Nursing Home.
Mrs. Prescott is survived by a daughter Patricia Spivey of Opelika; a son Alvin Prescott of Roanoke; a sister Ruby Cole of Roanoke; six grandchildren , eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Prescott was born December 17, 1915 the daughter of Malcus and Rebecca Smith Mitchell, she was retired from Playtex Inc. as a seamstress and was a member of Liberty East Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Alvin Prescott Sr.
The family will recieve friends at Quattlebaum Funeral Home on Sunday November 27, 2011 from 1 till 2 PM.
