Obituary of Lucile M. Robinson

OBITUARY Funeral services for Lucile M. Robinson, age 94, of Lanett, will be held Monday, November 28, 2011, at 2:00 pm from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Gerald Romine officiating. Burial will follow at Highway Methodist Church Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home, Roanoke, in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 pm on Monday. Mrs. Robinson died Saturday, November 26, 2011, at Lanier Nursing Home. Survivors include a daughter, Willodean Montgomery of Bristol, Tennessee; a son, Billy Ray Robinson of Lanett; two grandchildren, Mitzi T. Tomlin and James D. Montgomery III; four great-grandchildren, Jason Turner, James Turner, Quin Montgomery and Dylan Montgomery; three great-great-grandchildren, Wesley, Brandon and Caleb Turner; three nephews, Jerry Mitchell, Larry Mitchell and Greg Mitchell, all of Roanoke. A former resident of Roanoke and Wadley, Mrs. Robinson was born December 29, 1916, daughter of Jessie W. and Eula Shaw Mitchell. She was a Luzier consultant (skin care) for 45 years in the Randolph/Chambers county area. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Carl Robinson; a daughter, JoAnn Robinson; and a grandson, Ronald R. Robinson.
