Obituary of Selena Melody Phillips

OBITUARY Funeral services for Selena Melody Phillips, age 51, of Roanoke, will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at 2:00 pm from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Stanley Yarbrough officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 5th. Mrs. Phillips died Saturday, December 3, 2011, at Hospice LaGrange. Survivors include two sons, LCPL Cody Hudson and William Phillips, both of Roanoke; one sister, Sherry Pike of Roanoke; nephew, Bryan Pike of Montgomery; niece, Melody Pike of Roanoke; and life-long friend, Greg Miller of Roanoke. Pallbearers will be Allen Crockett, Bryar Crockett, Eddie Pike, Bobby Jones, Randy Hudson and Neil Hudson. A Chambers County native, Ms. Phillips was born December 30, 1959, daughter of Charley Herbert and Sara Beth Prather Hudson. She was employed with Wal-Mart and had previously worked with Georgia Pacific. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Shelia Hudson.
