Robert Wayne O’Donald, age 72, of Roanoke passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021, at Traylor’s Nursing Center.

Survivors include: two daughters, Nikki Cothran of Roanoke and Melissa East of Heath Springs, SC; one son, Brandon O’Donald of Roanoke; six grandchildren; and three sisters, Hazel Kirby if Five Points, Bertha Langford of Tennessee, and Sharon Byrd of South Carolina.

A South Carolina native, Mr. O’Donald was born on November 3, 1948, the son of Charles and Minnie Willbanks O’Donald.  He was a United States Army veteran and owner of O’Donald Construction.  Mr. O’Donald was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Peggy Johnson O’Donald; two brothers, Steve O’Donald and Jerry O’Donald; and a sister, Thelma Hazel.

A private service will be held at a later date.
