Graveside services for Anna Ruth Mitchum, age 88, of Roanoke, will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Randolph Memory Gardens with Bro. Kevin Buttrum officiating.

Ms. Mitchum passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at her residence. 

Survivors include her daughter, Gail Buttrum (Kevin) of Roanoke; sons, Ronnie Mitchum of Opelika, AL, and Keith Mitchum (Theresa) of Wadley, AL; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. 

A Randolph County native, Ms. Mitchum was born on March 3, 1933, the daughter of Hershel “Doc” Davis and Louise Cannon Butler.  She was a seamstress for Palm Beach. She was very much loved by her children and grandchildren and will be truly missed. Ms. Mitchum was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James Bradford Mitchum.
