Obituary of Florence Evelyn Everett
Florence Evelyn Everett, age 96, of Roanoke passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, at Roanoke Healthcare.
Survivors include: two daughters, Becky Everett Neal of Theodore, AL, and Robin Hall (Danny) of Roanoke, AL; three sons, Gregg Everett (Venna) of Montgomery, AL, Russell Everett of Troy, AL, and Shane Everett (Sherry) of Roanoke, AL; grandchildren, Claire Dixon (Michael) of Mobile, Brantley Everett (Nikki) of Salt Lake City, UT, Joshua Everett of Roanoke, Price Everett, and Lily Everett, both of Montgomery; and two great-grandchildren, Stella May Dixon and Harvey Charles Dixon, both of Mobile.
A Chilton County native, Mrs. Everett was born on February 12, 1925, the daughter of Henry Tillman and Stella Mae Ousley Gregg. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Roanoke and worked as a registered nurse for both Randolph County Home Health and Traylor’s Nursing Center, where she was Director of Nursing, and also assisted her husband in his practice. Mrs. Everett was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dr. Gerald W. Everett; and 5 siblings.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
