Obituary of Frankie Lynn Taylor

Funeral services for Frankie Lynn Taylor, age 66, of Woodland will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jamie Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Congregational Christian Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 PM on Tuesday before services begin.

Mr. Taylor passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Tanner-East Alabama Medical Center in Wedowee.

Survivors include: two sons, Mike Taylor (Courtney) and Chris Taylor (Julie), both of Roanoke; six grandchildren, Marleanna Gosdin (Clint), Ty Taylor, McKenzie Taylor, Logan Broome, Anna Rae Broome, and Paisley Taylor; great-grandchild, Harper Gosdin; four brothers, Rickie Taylor (Wanda), Phillip Taylor (Lisa), Jamie Taylor (Melissa), and Bobby Taylor (Angie), all of Roanoke; and special friend, Cathy Whaley of Roanoke.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Taylor, Rickie Taylor, Bobby Taylor, Jamie Taylor, Brian Taylor, and Brandon Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Ty Taylor and Logan Broome.

A Roanoke native, Mr. Taylor was born on August 26, 1954, the son of Frankie Dwight and Shirley Perry Taylor.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Denise Taylor; and brother, Patrick Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Compassus Hospice at 4455 Highway 431, Roanoke, AL 36274.
