Graveside services for Elizabeth Janell Whaley, age 80, of Roanoke will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021, at 3:00 pm at Randolph Memory Gardens with Rev. Tim Whaley officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:30 pm on Friday, May 7th

Mrs. Whaley passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

Survivors include: one son, Randy Whaley (Kathy) of Fitzgerald, GA; four grandchildren, Nick Whaley (Tashena) of Wartburg, TN, Allyson Cameron (Aaron) of Fitzgerald, GA, Jeremy Biggers (Megan) of Excel, AL, and Will Biggers of Fitzgerald, GA; and three great-grandchildren, Dalton Lane of Wartburg, TN, Madelyn Biggers and Connor Biggers, both of Excel, AL; one sister, Jeanette Parmer of Roanoke; one brother, Terry James Henderson of Auburn.

Pallbearers will be Terry Allen, Thomas McMurray, Russell Norred, Alan Whaley, Steve Butler and Ricky Parmer.

A Chambers County native, Mrs. Whaley was born on March 31, 1941, the daughter of Talmadge and Myrtis Brown Henderson.  She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and had been a loan officer with City Financials. Mrs. Whaley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Bayron Whaley; daughter, Rhonda Lynn Whaley; and grandson, Russell Brett Frye.
