Obituary of John Jerry Miszkiel
Graveside services for John Jerry Miszkiel, age 62, of Prattville, Alabama will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 17th, 2021, at Cedarwood Cemetery with Mark Lowry and Blake Lowry delivering the eulogy.
Mr. Miszkiel passed away on Thursday, May 13th, 2021 at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Nina Lowry Miszkiel of Prattville and Roanoke; one sister Susan Miszkiel Sallee (Robert) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two brothers, Henryk (Sue) Miszkiel of Wetumpka, Alabama and Michael Miszkiel of Lincoln, Nebraska. A brother in law; Mark (Venessa) Lowry of Roanoke, Alabama and one sister in law Dena Lowry of Fultondale, Alabama; two nephews Blake (Jacki-Lyn), Chase (Brittany), sister in law Brett Lowry and 7 nieces and nephews.
Mr. Miszkiel was born July 12, 1958, in Blair, Nebraska, and grew up in Tekamah, Nebraska, son of Anna and Stanislaw Miszkiel, direct immigrants from Budwieć and Tuczapy, Poland. He was a construction and home remodeler by trade. He was Catholic by faith. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Richard Blake Lowry, Benjamin Chase Lowry, Robert Lionel Harper, Jr, James Barry Waldrep and Danny Jay Baretto.
