Obituary of Deborah Jean Cottle
Funeral services for Debbie Cottle, age 66, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at 11:00 AM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Pastor Lon Hurst officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, May 28, 2021.
Ms. Cottle passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Survivors include her husband, Rodney Jackson; daughter, Angel Robinson (Jimmy) of Roanoke; son, Travis Jackson of Roanoke; and two grandchildren, Austin Knight and Savannah Knight.
Pallbearers will be Billy Worley, Tyler Worthy, Cody Hodges, Brantley Richardson, Billy Richardson, and Pastor Dan Waller. Honorary pallbearers will be Coach Larry Strain and Shawn Autrey.
A Randolph County native, Ms. Cottle was born on February 3, 1955, the daughter of Bruce and Eris Poore Cottle. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was the owner/operator of Miss Debbie’s Daycare for 24 years. Ms. Cottle was preceded in death by her parents.
