Obituary of Brenda Joyce Harmon
OBITUARY
Funeral services for Brenda Joyce Harmon, age 64, of Roanoke, will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Pastor Chance Meinzer officiating. Burial will be held at Lebanon Christian Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 PM on Tuesday before services begin.
Mrs. Harmon passed away on Saturday, June 26th at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Harmon of Roanoke; two daughters, Marcella Walker of Roanoke and Tonya Baker of Lineville; four grandchildren, Catherine Mitchell (Mikey), Courtney Baker, Dylan Baker (Alexius), and Khalida Sims; one sister, Nancy Weathers of Florida; and one brother, Tommy Weathers of Roanoke.
A lifelong Roanoke resident, Mrs. Harmon was born December 5, 1956, daughter of Junior Freeman and Frances Weathers. She was a member of Lebanon Christian Church. She had worked as a housekeeper and had been employed with Jon Boy’s Smoke House and Corelinc. Mrs. Harmon was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Lucretia Freeman; and a son-in-law, Johnny Baker.
Memorials may be floral or the family requests donations to Quattlebaum Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
