Obituary of Donna Hodges Hill
Graveside services for Donna Hodges Hill, age 61, of Roanoke will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021, at 4:30 PM Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Tim Whaley and Bro. Bill Calhoun officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home form 1:00-4:00 PM on Friday before services begin.
Ms. Hill passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at her son’s residence.
Survivors include: one son, Jeremy Hill (Stacey) of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Jacey Leigh Hill and Kaley Paige Hill; three brothers, Joey Hodges (Phyllis), Donald Hodges (Lisa), and Clay Hodges (Charlotte), all of Roanoke; nephews, Cliff Hodges, Wayne Hodges (Kadie), and Cody Hodges (Shannon); nieces, Farrah Hodges, Hannah Hodges (fiancé, Lee Baker), and Claire Hodges; and lifelong companion, Jackie Hill.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Hodges, Cody Hodges, Craig Calhoun, Phil Teague, Derrick Harper, and Lee Baker. Cliff Hodges will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
A Roanoke native, Ms. Hill was born on October 25, 1959, the daughter of Clarence Cecil and Darie Thomas Hodges. She was a member of Handley Avenue Church of God and worked in the Trinidad Benham Corporation and for the Community Action Agency in Roanoke. Ms. Hill was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, David Hodges.
