Funeral services for Janett H. Parmer, age 77, of Roanoke, will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Brother Jim Dykes officiating.  Burial will follow at Fellowship Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 AM on Saturday, July 31, 2021.

Mrs. Parmer passed away Monday, July 26, 2021, at her residence.

Survivors include her son, Ricky Parmer (Rita) of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Richard Lee Parmer of Lexington, KY, and Rita Lynn Parmer of Greenville, SC; and one brother, Terry Henderson of Auburn.

Pallbearers will be Randy Whaley, Danny Parmer, Wayne Parmer, Pace Cole, Jack Maxwell and Steve Cole.

A Chambers County native, Mrs. Parmer was born on November 10, 1943, the daughter of Talmadge J. and Myrtis Brown Henderson.  She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was a greeter at Walmart.  Mrs. Parmer was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Cornelius Lee “C. L.” Parmer; and a sister, Janell Whaley.

Memorials may be floral or the family requests donations in honor of Mrs. Parmer to Bethel Baptist Church, c/o Carol Shellnutt, 1436 County Road 297, Five Points, AL 36855.
