OBITUARY
Funeral services for Sue Traylor, age 90, of Roanoke, will be held Sunday, January 15, 2012, at 2:00 pm from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Dean and Rev. Gary Baugh officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 pm on Sunday.
Mrs. Traylor died Friday, January 13, 2012, at Traylor Nursing Home in Roanoke.
Survivors include her husband, Benny Hallman of Roanoke; two daughters, Susan Traylor of LaGrange, Ga. and Denise Aguilar (Luis) of Atlanta; one son, Ronald Traylor (Barbara) of Roanoke; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Randolph County native, Mrs. Traylor was born September 19, 1921, daughter of William P. and Georgia M. King Nix. She was a member of Roanoke First Baptist Church and the co-owner of Traylor Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her first husband, W. J. Traylor; one sister, Mildred Nix Latham and three brothers, Claris, Carl and Charlie Nix.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association (225 N. Michigan Avenue, 17th Floor, Chicago, IL 60601-7633).
