Obituary of J. Tom Heflin Lipp
Funeral services for J. Tom Heflin Lipp, age 89, of LaGrange, GA, will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Barbee officiating. Burial will follow at Potash Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 AM on Monday before services begin.
Mr. Lipp passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at the Florence Hand Home in LaGrange, Georgia.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jerome Griffin, Craig Patrick, Alan Griffin, David Lipp, John Lipp, and Steven Altomare.
A Randolph County native, Mr. Lipp was born on June 9, 1932, the son of Joseph E. and Willie Bowen Lipp. He was Christian by faith and served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. Mr. Lipp retired from Lanier Worldwide in administrative management. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ellis Lipp and Billy Joe Lipp; and three sisters, Eura Barbee, Rozelle Griffin, and Mollie Heard.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to one’s favorite charity.
