Obituary of Barbara Ann Bolt Simons
Funeral services for Barbara Ann Bolt Simons, age 71, of Roanoke will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at 12:00 noon at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mike Brewer officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM -12:00 PM on Tuesday before services begin.
Mrs. Simons passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Georgia.
Survivors include: one daughter, Donna Gore of Roanoke; five grandchildren, Jennifer McCard, Autumn Henderson, Jonathan Simons, Hunter Brown, and Destiny Pike; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Juanita Ussery.
A Roanoke native, Mrs. Simons was born on February 19, 1950, the daughter of Howard Frank and Arie Inez McCormick Bolt. She was Holiness by faith and was a housewife. Mrs. Simons was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Thomas Simons; one daughter, Lisa Simons; and a grandson, Matthew McCard.
