Obituary of O'Brian Seymour

Funeral services for O’Brian Seymour, age 74, of Wadley will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Blain Turner and Rev. Larry Cosper officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 am on Saturday.  For anyone attending visitation and/or the funeral service, the family requests that a mask be worn.

Mr. Seymour passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022, at his home.

Survivors include his wife, Charlene Burke Seymour of Wadley; two sons, Richard Seymour (Kelly) of Auburn and Westley Seymour of Roanoke; five grandchildren, Quincy Seymour, Ava Seymour, Grace Seymour, Briain Seymour and Aidan Seymour; his mother, Lena Stewart Seymour; one sister, Mary John Seymour Brown of Wadley; and a brother-in-law, Joseph Ray of Birmingham.

Members of the Roanoke Masonic Lodge will serve as pallbearers.

A lifelong Randolph County resident, Mr. Seymour was born August 2, 1947, the son of Palmer and Lena Stewart Seymour.  He was a member of Community Baptist Church and had been a service technician with West Point Foundry.

Memorials may be floral, or the family suggests contributions to the Roanoke Masonic Lodge.
