Obituary of Jimmy Frank Ramsey

OBITUARY Funeral services for, Jimmy Frank Ramsey, age 72, of Roanoke, will be held 3:00 pm, Thursday, February 23, 2012, from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Dean and Rev. Tim Whaley officiating. Burial to follow in Mt. Zion Christian Church Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 22nd. Mr. Ramsey died Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at Wedowee Hospital. Mr. Ramsey is survived by two daughters, Margie (husband Benjie) Johnson of Five Points, Lynn (husband Billy) Ledbetter of Roanoke; two sisters, Eudene Whaley of Roanoke, Audrey Butts of Valley; four grandchildren, Jessica and Clay Pike, Rylee and Abby Ledbetter. Mr. Ramsey was born, November 19, 1939, the son of Robert Lee and Ruby Mae Hill Ramsey. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, worked in sales for Flowers Bakery and retired from Mohawk Industries.
