Obituary of Ronnie Lee Rice, Jr.

Funeral services for Ronnie Lee Rice, Jr., age 48, of Roanoke, will be held at      

2:00 pm on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Keith Benefield officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to services on Saturday.

Mr. Rice passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.

Survivors include his father, Ronnie Lee Rice, Sr. of Roanoke; three sisters, Amanda Knight of Five Points, Felicia Teague of Rock Mills and Kimberly Fomby of Hogansville, GA; special cousin, Susan Davidson of Palmetto, GA; special friend, Sharon Barrett of Wadley; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mike Rice, Caleb Teague, Kyle Fomby, Luke Fomby, Jimmy Fomby and Roy Wortham.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Rice was born October 8, 1973, the son of Ronnie Lee Rice Sr. and Nelda Joyce Bolt.  He was a member of Standing Rock Assembly of God and had worked as a carpenter.
