OBITUARY
Funeral services for, James Truman "Jimmie" Perry, age 70, of Daviston, will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 25, 2012, from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Whaley officiating. Burial to follow in the Mt. Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 24th.
Pallbearers will be Mike Edge, Will Tennant, Edward Gibson, Steve Welsh, Andy Bailey, Gary Clark, Shannon Laney, Lane Perry and Bill Denny
Mr. Perry died Thursday, February 24, 2012, at East Alabama Medical Center.
Mr. Perry is survived by his wife, Johnnie Sue Laney Perry of Daviston; one daughter, Cindy (husband Tim) Whaley of Roanoke; one son, James Bradley Perry of Cleo; two brothers, Donnie Perry of Roanoke, John Lane Perry of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Angel Whaley of Roanoke, Jace Perry of Valley.
Mr. Perry was born June 3, 1941, the son of Truman Shula and Mildred Sara Lane Perry. He was a member of Radneys Chapel Methodist Church and had worked as route salesman for Tom's, Barber Sales and Meadow Gold. Mr. Perry was a member of the Penton Race Track. He was preceded in death by his parents.
