Obituary of Betty E. Green
Betty E. Green, age 91, of Roanoke, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Traylor Health and Rehab Center.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Davis of Indiana and Suzan Wegenast of Texas; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a niece, Dorothy Wells and nephew, Bob Steele. .
A Jacksonville, Florida, native, Mrs. Green was born on January 15, 1931, the daughter of Charlie Temple and Anna Lena Myers Tillis. She was a member of Roanoke United First Methodist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nathan Green; husband, Vanis Pringle; sisters, Wanda Maude Dorothy Tillis, Juanita Tillis, and Vera Mae Tillis; and brothers, John Charlie Tillis and Cecil W. Tillis.
