Obituary of Pamela Rushing Halsey
Funeral services for Pamela Rushing Halsey, age 63, of Roanoke, will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Keith Benefield and Bro. Mike Brewer officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Mills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 25th.
Mrs. Halsey passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at UAB.
Survivors include her husband, Phillip Halsey of Roanoke; one daughter, Bonita Williamson of Roanoke; one son, Jimmy Albright of Roanoke; four grandchildren, Tori Williamson, Camden Williamson, Mylee Albright, and Beau Albright; three sisters, Nita Starnes (Ben) of Glenn, GA, Teresa Crockett of Woodland and Samantha Burke of Woodland; one brother, Tim Rushing of Roanoke.
Pallbearers will be Camden Williamson, Michael Rushing, Benji Starnes, Justin Benefield, Mark Kirby, Stevie Bolt and Anthony Bowen. Beau Albright will serve as honorary pallbearer.
A former resident of Rock Mills, Mrs. Halsey was born in Franklin, Georgia, on September 18, 1958, the daughter of Rayford G. “Bonnie” and Ellie Ruth Burke Rushing. She was a member of Midway Full Gospel Church and had worked at Amoco Fabrics & Fibers. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Mike Rushing; and a son, Ray Edward Huddleston, Jr.
