Funeral services for Walter “Luke” Sudduth, age 39, of Roanoke will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Paul Messer officiating and Trae Foster delivering the eulogy.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-3:00 on Friday before services begin.

Mr. Sudduth passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022, in Roanoke.

Survivors include his wife, Kortnie Bearden Sudduth of Roanoke; two daughters, Addison Lynne Sudduth and Ava Leigh Sudduth, both of Roanoke; his parents, Walter and Elena Sudduth of Roanoke; grandmother, Loretta Windsor (William Robert) of Roanoke; one sister, Amee Rushton (Tommy) of Roanoke; niece, Whitney Rushton; nephew, Bradley Rushton; father and mother-in-law, Anthony and Lynn Bearden of Roanoke; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A lifelong Roanoke resident, Mr. Sudduth was born in LaGrange, Georgia, on July 2, 1982, the son of Walter Tillman and Elena Kay Mapp Sudduth.  He was a member of Community Life Church and worked as a maintenance technician at ANCI. Mr. Sudduth was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tillman Hugh Sudduth, Oleta Washington Sudduth, Benjamin U. Mapp, and Pete Burks.

Memorials may be floral or donations may be made to Quattlebaum Funeral Home to go towards final expenses.
