OBITUARY
Graveside services for Macie Bell Shelnutt, age 82, of Roanoke, will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012, at 3:00 pm from Center Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. Quattlebaum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Shelnutt died Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Roanoke Health Care.
Survivors include two daughters, Dianne (husband, Ralph) Gooden of Wadley and Marsha (husband, Kevin) Norred of Roanoke; one son, Terry (wife, Sonya) Green of Auburn; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Shelnutt was born March 31, 1929, daughter of Joseph Ben and Sally Maude Crenshaw Parmer. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and had been employed by Amoco Fabrics as a spinner. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Shelnutt; one brother, Vernon Parmer.
