Funeral services for Loree Craven Mitchell Elmore, age 86, of Tallasee will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. David Glass officiating.  Burial will follow at Midway United Methodist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Sunday, June 12, 2022.

Mrs. Elmore passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama.

Survivors include: three daughters, Janice Glass (David) of Roanoke, Myra Mitchell (Jean Ellwanger) of Tallassee, AL, and Wanda Mitchell (Zane Haley) of Fairfield, TX; two sons, Jimmy Mitchell (Dayna) of Fairfield, TX, and Thomas “Marty” O’Brian of College Station, TX; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Hazel Childers of Shreveport, LA; and two brothers, Sonny Craven of Roanoke and Elbert Craven of Tennessee.

Pallbearers will be Cheyenne Pike, James Pike, Joseph Lindsey, River Pike, Jacob Laster, and Landon Melson.

A Randolph County native, Mrs. Elmore was born on October 13, 1935, the daughter of Vernie and Mary Nelson Craven.  She was a member of Grace and Mercy Baptist Church and worked as a waitress.  Mrs. Elmore was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, James Junior Mitchell and Larry Elmore; and one daughter, Debra Rushing.
