Obituary of Teresa Gayle Crockett

A graveside service will be held for Teresa Rushing Crockett, age 66, of Roanoke, AL, on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Highway Congregational Methodist Church with Bro. Keith Benefield and Bro. Mike Brewer officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Crockett passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022, at her residence.

Survivors include: one daughter, Lisa Richmond (Jason) of Marietta, GA.; two sons, Mark Kirby (Tisha) of Franklin, GA., and Stevie Bolt (Delana) of Roanoke, AL.; grandchildren, Megan Brimer (Steven), Katelyn Kirby, Kiley Kirby, Austin Miller, Caleb White, Daniel Holloway, Clayton Holloway, Kamlyn Holloway, Ambrose Richmond, and Ocia Anna Richmond; siblings, Nita Starnes (Ben) of Glenn, GA, Tim Rushing of Roanoke, and Samantha Burke of Roanoke; and brother-in-law, Phillip Halsey.

Pallbearers will be Michael Rushing, Benji Starnes, Jimmy Albright, Steven Brimer, Clayton Holloway, and Kiley Kirby. Honorary pallbearer will be Justin Benefield.

Mrs. Crockett was born on June 22, 1956, the daughter of Rayford Bonnie Rushing and Ellie Ruth Burke. She worked as an LPN and was a member of Midway Full Gospel Church. Mrs. Crockett was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Crockett; siblings, Mike Rushing and Pam Halsey; and brother-in-law, Eddie Burke.
