Mrs. Margaret Wood passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at her residence.
Survivors include: daughters, Alice Lancaster of Roanoke, AL. and Vicky Rowe of Plains, GA.; son, Bill Wood of Sharpsburg, GA.; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wood was born on December 17, 1926, the daughter of William Clinton and Maude Elizabeth Brantley Britt. She was a Christian by faith and was a stay-at-home wife and mother. Mrs. Wood is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Hubert Wood; son, Tom Wood; and daughter, Peggy Caldwell.
