Obituary of Corbin Barrett Shelnutt
Funeral services for Corbin Barrett Shelnutt, age 80, of Roanoke will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Henry Nelson, Bro. Edward Herren, and Bro. Ricky Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at Lebanon Christian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00-5:00 PM on Sunday, November 27, 2022.
Mr. Shelnutt passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Tanner-East Alabama Medical Center in Wedowee.
Survivors include: one sister, Sara Williamson of Roanoke and one brother, Edward Shelnutt of Roanoke.
Pallbearers will be Mike Strain, Mike Kirby, Bryant Gray, Andy Gray, Blake Gray, Keith Marable, and Chris Marable.
A Roanoke native, Mr. Shelnutt was born on February 23, 1942, the son of Corbin and Elizabeth Key Shelnutt. He was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ and was retired from Amoco Fabrics and Fibers. Mr. Shelnutt was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sara Robinson Shelnutt; two sisters and four brothers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lebanon Christian Church Cemetery Fund at P.O. Box 364, Roanoke, AL 36274.
